We left Inverness early and had an easy run down to Dundee. Met more interesting people, staff and centre users, especially Helen! Ian walked the Maggies Maze outside the centre. Had lunch at The Marmalade Pot (Dundee is, of course, famous for marmalade).
Traffic/road works made life more difficult on the way to Kirkcaldy so we arrived later than anticipated but had an interesting chat with Ruth, centre head, and Jean in particular -thanks for the information Jean!
The road to Edinburgh was good but we still took longer than expected and had difficulty locating the centre and then getting past the car parking barrier but we did get there with 30 minutes to spare before the end of a Maggie's day! A great welcome again, thanks to Julia and her colleagues.
We are now settled into Travelodge Musselburgh and will be setting off for Berwick on Tweed - only about an hour away this time...
Bye for now
